Dr. Chara Dimitriou

Dr. Chara A. Demetriou is President of the Board of the Cyprus Psychologists Association (CyPSA) and Assistant Professor of Psychology at the American University of Beirut – Mediterraneo. A registered Clinical Psychologist, she has academic, research, and professional experience across clinical psychology, mental health, and prevention. Through her institutional role at the CyPSA, she actively contributes to public dialogue and collaborates with governmental and other stakeholders to strengthen mental health services, prevention initiatives, and the promotion of mental well-being in Cyprus.
