Dr Anders Basbøll is a theoretical physicist/cosmologist and joined the Danish Gambling Authority (DGA) in 2016. Anders has worked on the reporting criteria for sending live data on especially parimutuel betting (horse racing) as well as data demands for online bingo. Currently he is working on a new platform to analyse game data – one purpose of which is to see to which degree Problematic Gambling is predictable. The DGA wants to look at its game data itself in order to understand what is possible to do for the licence holders in the prevention of Problematic Gambling.
