For the eighth consecutive year, the National Betting Authority is organising Safer Gambling Week, which will take place from 13 to 19 October 2025. This initiative aims to inform and raise awareness among the public, while actively engaging society in issues related to the promotion of safer gambling practices and the prevention of gambling-related harm.

The week has been designed to provide clear and accessible information on what constitutes safer gambling, the self-protection tools available to players, and the support mechanisms in place for individuals experiencing gambling-related harm. The overarching objective is to ensure that gambling remains a form of entertainment for those who choose to engage in it.

Throughout the week, a range of events and activities will be organised by relevant stakeholders across all districts of the Republic of Cyprus. Members of the public will have the opportunity to participate in presentations, educational programmes, experiential workshops, interactive activities, and more.
