Christina Christoforou graduated in Public Administration and Finance (BSc) from the University of Cyprus in 2013 and acquired a Master of Science (MSc) in Global Business and Sustainability from Rotterdam School of Management at Erasmus University. Christina has been working at the National Betting Authority of Cyprus for over 7 years as the Head of the Safer Gambling & Business Development Directorate. She has been leading various projects and initiatives, especially the drafting of the Safer Gambling Strategy, the Safer Gambling Standard and is organising public campaigns such as the Safer Gambling Week that has been running for 6 years. She also gave lectures in schools around the risks of problem gambling and led the project team for the national gambling prevalence survey. She has also participated in various panel discussions as a speaker in international conferences related to the field of gambling.
