During the seminar, the participants will have the opportunity to be presented with the results of the first National research, which examined general’s public knowledge and opinion towards responsible gaming. The research was aimed to 18+ people, stratified by age and geographical region. Afterwards, the seminar’s participants will join the 3 city challenge. After watching a short presentation on good practices and principles of responsible gaming, they will be asked to think, describe, and present proposals to promote responsible gaming at their organisations. At the end of the seminars, the proposals will be evaluated by a three persons Committee and the two proposals selected for implementation by the National Betting Authority, will be announced.
The training seminars are addressed to authorized personnel and employees of the industry in Cyprus.

This course raises awareness of problem gambling for professional sports players, academies and the sports industry, and promotes a responsible attitude to gambling among this at-risk group.This training provides coaches and sports leaders with the knowledge and skills to screen for problem gambling. It will enable attendees to understand the complexities of the issue and will equip them with the knowledge of which services they can signpost to for further support.
This course is aimed at leaders in the sports industry who have a duty of care to their players.
