Mr. Lazaros Philippou is the founder and CEO of LP Meridian Cyprus Ltd which was merged with the betting companies MyBet, ΒΗΤΑ BET, BETENA, Korona Bet and Top Sports Ltd. Later on he bought the betting company Megabet Ltd and he created Megabet Plus Ltd of which he was the owner and acting CEO. He sold the company to the market-leading group of betting and technology Playtech BGT Sports (PBS) in which was hired as the Development Manager. Currently, he is the General Manager of Marketing of Cleverpath Holdings Ltd, which controls the betting companies of Megabet Plus, megabetplus.com.cy and Scorebet.
Till 2014 he was COO Of Winner.ro betting company in Roumania, the same time serve Megabetplus and Winner.ro Up to the year 2015 he was the President of the agents of the Horse Racing Club of Cyprus. During his career, he was involved in the retail business for the brands of Nescafe and Shark and he was the first official supplier of these products to the Army of Cyprus during 2004 – 2005. He is also the Vice President of the Church Saint Prodromos and he was awarded by the Archibishop Crysostomos with the unique “Medal of the Orthodox Church of Cyprus” for his contribution to society. He currently possesses a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration and he is in the second year of his (MBA) Master Degree in Business Management. Also, his practical dissertation focuses on “The main issues and the challenges of the betting industry in Cyprus”.
