Research associate at the Gambling Research Center of the University of Hohenheim since 2008. Her research interests focus on women and gambling, since most research concentrates on men as those affected, and on women as concerned significant others. While this reflects the majority ratio, it leaves out women with gambling disorder. It is equally important to her to counter the stigmatization of persons with gambling disorder. She has presented papers at national and international conferences, published articles in journals (Journal of Gambling Studies, etc.) and edited volumes (Gambling Disorders in Women, etc.), and represented the Research Center at conferences and workshops.
