Dr. Michael Auer

Dr. Michael Auer is a gambling researcher and has published more than 50 academic studies. Most of his studies rely on objective real-world data from actual online or land-based gamblers. Dr. Michael Auer’s work as provided significant insight into the understanding of gambling behaviour, markers of harm and personalized feedback. He has also shown that Responsible Gaming and Loyalty are correlated and that players which gamble responsible are more loyal. Dr. Michael Auer holds a Masters Degree in Statistics from the University of Vienna and a PhD from Nottingham Trent University.
