Γιώργος Παντελή

George Panteli is the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance. He studied Economics at Queen Mary College and he holds a master’s degree in Public Administration. His professional career started at KPMG. Subsequently, he was employed at the Ministry of Finance and in 2014 he was appointed Director of the Economic Research and European Union Directorate. George Panteli is the Cyprus’s representative in the Economic and Financial Committee and the Eurogroup Working Group of the Council, he participates in the meetings of the Eurogroup and the ECOFIN Council and is a member of the Board of Directors of the European Stability Mechanism. He participates in various BoD of Organizations such as the Bank of Cyprus Oncology Center, the State Health Services Organization. He is the President of the BoD of Asset Management Cooperative Company.
