  • The 3on3 Basket Tournament, a signature event of the National Betting Authority and the Cyprus Basketball Federation, is back stronger than ever this year! On Saturday, October 13, 2024, "Tassos Papadopoulos – Eleftheria" Stadium will host yet another unforgettable "Keep the Ball Safe" event.

    Get ready for a day full of games, information, and entertainment from 11:00 to 14:00, for you, your friends, and your family!

    If you love basketball and master the art of dribbling, this day is for you. Besides the tournament's competitive aspect, there will be activities for all ages, such as face painting, live music with a DJ, a live link, mascots, and many other surprises for both young and old basketball fans.

    The National Betting Authority, in collaboration with the Cyprus Basketball Federation, is organizing this basketball tournament as part of the 7th Safer Gambling Week, aiming to raise awareness among players and the public about safe participation in gambling.

Participation at the Mountain Fest

MountainFest is taking place as part of the National Year of Youth and is organized in collaboration with local mountain communities. It promises a unique festival experience of entertainment and fun that will bring together young people from across Cyprus, featuring live music performances by young Cypriot artists, food and delicacies from local producers, along with various creative and interactive activities.

At the festival, attendees will have the opportunity to meet youth organizations focused on the environment that will offer interactive activities, local youth organizations presenting their work, useful resources for youth, the Mobile Makerspace technology unit, as well as programs and services from the Youth Organization. SGW will be a part of the festival to inform about safer gambling.

Activities in all First and Second Division football matches

The Cyprus Football Association supports Safer Gambling Week. The 6th matchday of the Men's First Division, the 4th matchday of the Men's Second Division and the 1st matchday of the Women's National Championship are dedicated to Safer Gambling Week. The aim is to inform and raise awareness among the public, as well as to engage and mobilize the wider community on issues related to promoting safe participation in gambling. Players from the teams will enter the field wearing jerseys featuring the message of the week.
